Hello!

After working as a fine artist and discovering firsthand the profound impact of the creative process on emotional well-being, I knew I wanted to help others use art as a means of expression, communication, and healing.

My experience spans therapeutic support for diverse populations, including young children and their families, adolescents, and the elderly. In addition, I have a deep passion for supporting individuals with eating disorders, drawing on both my professional expertise as an art therapist and my personal insights as a lived-experience peer mentor. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and focused on fostering resilience by working with individuals and their wider networks.

A core strength of my practice is integrating visual arts into therapeutic healing and growth. I work through the lens of Polyvagal Theory, which allows me to attune to my own emotional state while meeting clients where they are. This framework helps me support individuals in finding safety, regulation, play, and connection within the creative process.

While I value the creative process as much—if not more—than the final product, I also recognize that for some, developing technical skills or mastery of new art media can enhance therapeutic outcomes. I welcome and support both approaches in my work.

My key values are empathy, curiosity, acceptance, passion, and, of course, creativity. I believe that building meaningful relationships is at the heart of therapeutic work. Through collaboration and human connection, we can deepen our understanding of ourselves and those around us.

I offer individual and group sessions both in person and online via Zoom.

I would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I would like to pay respect to their elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
